Rigging-Busters Brampton is an industrial moving company in Brampton, Ontario, serving plants across the city and the rest of Peel Region. We are a machinery moving and rigging company that provides professional riggers and lifters: our machinery movers and riggers take production equipment off one footprint and set it on the next, whether the job is one stamping press, a CNC machine, a packaging line or the contents of a whole building. Rigging-Busters brings experienced rigging and machinery moving teams together under one standard of quality, so every Brampton job is planned before anything is lifted.

  • Industrial work only: machinery, production lines and plant equipment, never homes or offices.
  • One crew for the whole job: rigging, transport, set-in-place, levelling and millwright installation.
  • Minimum job: 3,500 CAD. Most plant jobs cost more, and your written quote shows the full price before work starts.
  • Insured: liability and workers’ compensation insurance (WSIB in Ontario), with a certificate of insurance on request.
  • Quotes: usually within 2–4 working hours once we have all the details. Estimates are free.

Brampton Plants We Work For: Manufacturing, Food, Pharma and Logistics

Brampton’s economic development office reports its work across advanced manufacturing and food processing, health innovation and technology, plus emerging sectors such as space, defence and cybersecurity (City of Brampton, February 2026). That mix decides what our crews move here: presses and moulding machines for parts makers, packaging and converting lines, machine-shop equipment, and the electrical gear that keeps a plant running.

Food and beverage stands out. The City says the sector employs about 8,500 people across 300 companies, and the 2026 rankings in Business Facilities named Brampton Canada’s top food and beverage processing cluster (City of Brampton, August 2026). Growth here arrives as equipment: the City welcomed a $141 million bottling expansion designed to add at least 20 million cases a year (February 2026) and reported a pharmaceutical investment of more than $56 million in a specialized production suite and a tube-filling line (September 2026). Lines like these have to be unloaded, rigged in, set and levelled, and the older lines they replace have to go somewhere.

Around the Airport Intermodal area, distribution centres and warehouses add conveyors, sortation equipment, compressors and backup generators to the list. When a plant closes, consolidates or changes owners, the job runs the other way: machines are disconnected by your trades, rigged out and loaded for a buyer, another site or storage.

Areas We Cover from Brampton

We work across Brampton’s employment areas, including Bramalea, the Airport Intermodal area, Highway 410 and Steeles, the Goreway Drive corridor, Bram West and the Highway 427 industrial area. Across the city line we take jobs in Caledon and Bolton to the north, Georgetown and Halton Hills to the west, Vaughan to the east and Mississauga and Etobicoke to the south. Nearby hubs: Mississauga, Toronto and Milton.

Oversize Loads on Peel and Provincial Roads

A machine leaving a Brampton plant on a trailer often travels on Regional roads such as Queen Street, Bovaird Drive, Airport Road or Steeles Avenue. The City of Brampton notes that excess load permit applications are reviewed and issued by the Region of Peel, and Peel’s single permits are for loads with a total weight below 120,000 kg. Provincial highways such as the 410 and 427 need an MTO oversize/overweight permit, and Ontario asks carriers to apply at least 5 business days ahead. We apply for the permits and book escorts when a permit calls for them; give us your dates early so that lead time sits inside your schedule, not in front of it.

Have These Ready for an Exact Quote

A complete request gets you a firmer price, faster. Send these with your quote request:

  1. The job in one line: one machine, several, a production line, or a full plant move or closure
  2. Make, model, weight and footprint of each machine; a nameplate photo answers most of our questions
  3. Pickup and delivery addresses, with the dock or grade-level door, door width, ceiling height and floor at each end
  4. Your dates: the shutdown window, the move-out deadline or the day the new building is ready
  5. Who does what on your side: electricians for disconnects, the OEM for start-up, your QA team for food or pharma lines
  6. Photos of the machines and the route out of the building

We reply with a quote usually within 2–4 working hours once we have all the details. For a rough range first, try the Heavy Lifting & Moving Calculator.

Brampton Industrial Moving: FAQ

Which of your Brampton services fits my job?

Start with what the machine has to do. To move presses, CNC machines or whole lines to another building, see our machinery movers in Brampton. For lifts, skidding and setting inside your plant, the rigging company in Brampton page fits. Food lines, CNC machines and heavy lab equipment each have their own page in the list above.

Can you move a machine from Brampton to Mississauga or Toronto?

Yes, and the paperwork follows the roads. Peel Region issues excess load permits for its roads in both cities, the City of Mississauga issues its own for city streets with at least 5 business days of notice, a Toronto single-trip permit takes 7 to 10 business days, and highways such as the 410 and 427 need an MTO permit. We plan the route and file them.

Which parts of Brampton and Peel do you cover?

All of Brampton, from the employment lands in Bram West and around Highway 427 to Bramalea, the Airport Intermodal area and the Highway 410 and Steeles corridor. Outside the city we work in Caledon, Bolton, Georgetown and the rest of Halton Hills, Vaughan, Mississauga and Etobicoke, and we take machines from Brampton to sites anywhere in southern Ontario or across the US border.

What is the smallest job you take?

Our minimum job is 3,500 CAD. Even a short move inside one building needs a lift plan, rigging gear and a full crew, so most plant jobs come in above that figure. For a single light machine or office equipment, a general mover is usually the better value. Your written quote always shows the full price before any work starts.

How quickly will I get a quote?

Usually within 2–4 working hours once we have all the details: make, model and weight, photos, both addresses and your dates. A large or complex job, such as a full line or a plant move, may need a free site visit before the final price. Estimates are free, and the Heavy Lifting and Moving Calculator gives a rough range in the meantime.

Can you store machinery between move-out and installation?

Yes. When the old building has to be empty before the new one is ready, machines can be stored between the two moves, crated or on skids. Tell us the dates and how long the storage will run in your quote request, and we will plan the move-out, storage and delivery as one job with one price.

Do you move household or office furniture, or rent cranes and forklifts?

No. We move industrial machinery and plant equipment only, so a house, apartment or office move in Brampton is a job for a residential or commercial mover. We do not rent cranes or forklifts either. When a lift needs a crane, it is our crane or a partner crane with its own operator, planned and priced inside your job.
