- Equipment list and walk-through: each machine’s weight, footprint, utilities and restart priority, plus a walk of both buildings: docks, door openings, floor slabs and the route out.
- Layout and move sequence: we work from your floor plan or your engineer’s layout and set the order so the line you need first moves first.
- Permits and route: oversize loads need City of Mississauga, Region of Peel or MTO permits, depending on the roads; we apply for them and book the escorts.

Excess Load Permits: City of Mississauga, Peel Region and MTO
Most machines travel within normal legal dimensions, but a large press, a moulding machine on its trailer or a long line section can be over the limits. On City of Mississauga roads that load needs an excess load moving permit, which the City takes at least five business days to process, or fourteen for a superload of 120,000 kg or more. A single-trip load 25 to 37 m long or 3.2 to 4.5 m wide moves with at least two private escort vehicles, and anything beyond those limits, or over 4.5 m high, also needs a police escort.
Regional roads need a separate Region of Peel permit, filed at least 10 business days before the move, and Highways 401, 403, 410 and the QEW need an MTO oversize permit, applied for at least 5 business days ahead.
